Someone’s sleepy! Siku settles down for an adorable bit of shut-eye at his home in Jutland, Denmark, where the 1-month-old polar bear cub currently resides with zookeeper Frank Vigh-Larsen.

After his Nov. 22 birth, caretakers at the Scandinavian Wildlife Park learned Siku’s mother Ika could not produce enough milk to feed him, so they have been hand-rearing him ever since.
The growing little guy has learned to open his eyes in the past few weeks, and now weighs 8 lbs.
Siku’s adorable antics, including precious moments like this one, have made him a rising star on the Internet, where a video of him stretching has racked up over 300,000 views.
Though the cheeky critter loves to stick out his tongue, he shows tremendous poise while posing for his portrait.
Following a year of care, Siku will be reintroduced to the park’s polar bear community, but until then, he is happy to consider Vigh-Larsen his surrogate mother.
As a maturing newborn, there’s plenty of cuteness in the future for Siku, whose name comes from the Greenlandic word for “sea ice.”
