I consider the two dogs in my home to be pretty smart but, even they were fooled by the Potty Patch -- eventually.

The Potty Patch, disguised to look like a large patch of grass, is really a bathroom system that allows your dog to relieve him or her self without being taken out for a walk. The function is essentially the same as your everyday puppy pads, but the grass-like surface may look and feel more inviting to your dog. Though my cats were immediately intrigued by the structure — they were inspecting the mesh-covered ground level even before the easy-to-build enclosure was fully constructed — it took a sprinkling of catnip to get them to climb up to the various levels the first time. A sales clerk helped the singer pick out a brown Animals Matter Katie Puff Bed (above, $160) for her dogs. Made with a down-like fiberfill, upholstered in chenille and available in various sizes, the pillowy seat was instantly claimed by at least one of her pups. "Tyson is rolling in his new bed in the car:) I took him with me to work today!:)" the star Tweeted on Thursday. And, the new Crystal Bone Croc Collars she scooped up — made with Czech crystals — look like a million bucks, but at $27 each, they don't cost nearly as much!
