This Week's Hot Stuff
We Found It: Bo's Christmas Stocking!
While the contents of Bo's Christmas stocking will remain a mystery at least until Christmas morning, we now have intel on his actual stocking! Now your loveable furball can have a stocking just like Bo's with Arcadia Home's paw print keepsake.
Dawn Kikel, president of the eco-conscious, handmade product line, tells PEOPLEPets.com that she was contacted by a White House consultant hired to work on this year's Christmas decorations. "It was just really thrilling," says the animal lover. "I love the thought of having an Arcadia Home stocking for Bo in his first Christmas in the White House."
Reindeer Poop Pendants: Good Gift or Just Gross?
Rudolph has a red nose — we've established that — but did you know that his droppings are the same size as a rabbit's? And that 50 of them come out at a time?
John Tobias, the former superintendent of the Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington, Ill., had a grandmother who knew, and she used to go out with her grandchildren into the cold winter air on Christmas Eve so they could all sprinkle homemade chocolate chips on the snow. Santa and his reindeer needed help finding their house, you see, and the chips would make them think that other reindeer had stopped by to say hello.

SNEAK PEEK: Martha Stewart's Pet-tacular Halloween Show!
Martha Stewart, by now renowned for her love of animals big and small, threw a pet-tacular party for a special taping of The Martha Stewart Show, which airs Monday, Oct. 26. Her audience: owners and their pets, dressed as Greyhound buses (guess the dog) and takeout boxes. Her guests: pugs Francesca and Sharkey, designer Isaac Mizrahi, artist Alison Lewis and associate food producer Courtney Knapp, who made a healthy apple-cheddar dog biscuit recipe from her mom.
Get Your Pet a New Year's Party Hat!
Ringing in the New Year will be a lot more fun with your pet by your side. And just because kitty or pooch can't work a noisemaker, doesn't mean he can't get in the festive spirit. Why not get him a party hat to wear as the clock strikes midnight? Each is covered in a fun pet-themed fabric, with boa trim and cihenille poof on top. A comfortable chin strap keeps the topper in place... at least until those pigs-in-the-blanket get served! $10 each at tailwagging.com.
