Keep Your Pet Close to your Heart with Paw Print Pendants and Necklaces

Like any pet owner, San Francisco-based veterinarian Vanessa Wensing had so much love for her cat Ashley, but didn't quite know how to conceptualize her feelings.

Inspired by the intimate relationship her patients shared with their animals, she created Ashley & Co., a jewelry line featuring delicate cat- and dog-like paw prints that humans can wear as necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets and more. There's even a line of collar charms for pets!

Crafted from precious metals and hand-finished in San Francisco, the baubles come in 14- and 18-karat yellow gold or sterling silver. While most items are modeled after Vanessa's beloved Ashley, there are three collections named to honor pets of Vanessa's patients and friends. For every item purchased online (prices range from $55-$485; shipping is free), Vanessa donates 5 percent of the proceeds to local animal-related non-profits.
